Sul piano dell’astratto vive il progetto, che poi la creatività lo trasforma in invenzione finale, trasferendolo sul piano del concreto.Quando l’arte abbraccia la moda la trasforma con invenzione creativa, e progetto e tecnica si fondono. L’invenzione creativa si auto alimenta con il progresso delle proprie capacità tecniche, permettendo di rendere concrete le aspettative del progetto.
Per noi è stato molto complesso e impegnativo riuscire a far cambiare la chiave di lettura sul mondo tessile facendolo spostare sottilmente dalla sua fama strettamente sartoriale a quello artistico.
La grande scoperta che ha alimentato la nostra ricerca è stato l’uso del medium tessile, che ci ha fatto diminuire l’interesse per gli altri materiali scultorei e pittorici, sfruttando solo le precedenti esperienze.
On the abstract level, the project lives, and creativity then transforms it into the final invention, transferring it to the concrete level. When art embraces fashion, it transforms it with creative invention, merging project and technique. Creative invention self-nourishes through the progress of its technical capabilities, allowing the expectations of the project to materialize. For us, it has been challenging and demanding to shift the perception of the textile world, subtly moving it from its strictly tailoring fame to an artistic realm. The significant discovery fueling our research was the use of the textile medium, which led us to diminish interest in other sculptural and pictorial materials, relying solely on past experiences.
